Decatur: Beaver Lake (See Photo Below) |
Description Beaver Lake is a picturesque country pond set in the North Texas grass lands. This ten-acre lake was built in 1965 and stocked shortly thereafter with bass, crappie, and catfish. Its 32 years of growth have left this lake with an abundant amount of underwater structure and willows shading the bank. Eight to nine feet in depth and easy access from all sides, make it great for float tubes and bank fishing as well as small boats with electric motors. (There is a buster boat with trolling motor on site for members to use.) So for those of you who like all types of fishing, Decatur: Beaver Lake is for you. |
