The American Fish and Game Club Members have exclusive access to the most expansive collection of private, well-managed lakes and ranches to fish and hunt. AFGC properties expand throughout Texas and into Oklahoma and Georgia(fishing only). With conservation in mind, our goal is to provide members with a quality outdoor experience in uncrowded conditions.

*Almost 30,000 Acres of Land *100 Private Lakes/Wetlands *Lodges, Cabins & Camping *Fisheries/Habitat Management *Organized Reservation System

AFGC Fishing Lakes range from 1 to 150 acres, with many located within 90 miles of DFW, Houston, Austin and San Antonio. Each site is well stocked with a variety of species and managed by AFGC's fisheries biologist. Fertilization, stocking of forage fish and limited harvesting are exercised to ensure balanced fisheries. Many sites are trophy bass lakes that are intensely managed and have produced bass over 14 pounds. Members are guaranteed uncrowded fishing, with only one group allowed on lakes less than 30 acres. Most lakes have boats available for members to use. Small boats can be hand launched on all sites, and a few sites have boat ramps. Fishing members pay yearly dues and half or full-day access fees.

AFGC Hunting Ranches and Wetlands are located throughout North Texas. These properties are intensely managed by our staffed wildlife biologists for all native species including, but not limited to, deer, duck, dove, turkey, quail and hog. Our organized reservation system limits hunting pressure and ensures members a safe and secluded hunting environment. Blinds, stands and feeders are available for members to use. Hunting members pay just one fee a year with no day access fees. There are a variety of membership packages available to fit your needs.

How does the Club work? The Club website details all of our sites. Members consult the site listings to select the site or combination of sites they would like to fish and/or hunt and then call the Club Reservation Office to reserve their choices. Members will receive a confirmation number to be printed on a Reservation Card. The card, placed on the dashboard of their vehicle, identifies AFGC members to the landowner and verifies their right to enter Club property.
